So, what happens if you get one buyer at the $10K? What happens to the expert list?
Thanks again – Eugene

Eugene,
In that case – there’ll be no such list, it’ll all be about directing people to just one business (the one that pays me) π

Are you going to record the conversations and share it with us? Thanks

Great training on asking the basic questions to lead to a sale.
So let me ask since you are going to just do 1 client for this particular project, if you happen to get 2 or 3, will you go out and design a property for them as well?
Seems like that could be competing with the other one unless you changed up the category a bit.
Loving the training so far.

Thanks Ben. I like how simple these seems to be. Now here’s my next biggest question – pricing. I can get assets ranked all day long, but how to price them? I mean, do you start off with the WP assets and upsell for video + video rankings if you can provide them? Start off with a combo of WP + videos for a higher price? And what do you base the monthly fee on – the Adwords CPC or just a comfortable number?
Based on the way you started the challenge, it looks like you’re charging anywhere from $500-800 per month for the WP asset. It’s not that I want to complicate things and I certainly don’t have anything against that price range, but I would love to be able to hit that $1200-$1500 per month per client whether that’s with WP assets or WP + videos. Thoughts?

@Anthony – I would be more likely to do so if it weren’t lawyers. They don’t like agreeing to release forms that allow others to broadcast their conversations. And they know how to sue people! π
@Lonnie – I wouldn’t sell them the same exact thing. I would sell them on branding their name and business name and increasing their footprint for that though! π
@Solan – I seriously don’t get into all that. I like simple and I like to do deals like this where I can charge a no-brainer annual fee.

Are you willing to help us close our first deal or two live and then we split the profits? That way you don’t have to record and we would get to listen to you work your magic live π

I like the Digital Landlord motif. That coupled with the 4 Questions
1. Whatβs working?
2. Where are you now?
3. Where do you want to be?
4. Want me to help you get there?
Sheesh, what biz owner would not want to be on 1st page Google search?
After watching all 5 Days, plus How videos, I am still not at all sure how to:
– Create the Digital landscape landing/info pages
– Once pages created, how to get on page 1 Google.

Hey Paul,
If you look at day 2, as well as the preliminary videos, that’s how you get page 1. But I will sum it up into 2 things:
1. Good keywords that are winnable and make sense
2. Using existing authority
Rock on!

Great stuff Ben, you certainly do ROCK!
A couple of questions came to mind whilst I was watching your video…
– When trying to understand ‘where they are now’ and ‘what is working’, do you ever use a questionnaire that runs them through the details or do you have a more high level chat with them?
– Pain vs Pleasure? When considering ‘what’s in the gap?’ do you press any pain or pleasure buttons to help your perceived value… i.e. what is that gap ‘costing’ them? What do they lose sleep over the most, what are their biggest challenges, or what would it be like when they ‘get there’?
– How do you know they have the budget to afford your $10K? Or do you find out their budget before leading this conversation further?
Thanks for putting this together, it truly is inspiring!

@Ben-well at least I know your sales mojo works. I bought Magic Mirror Formula and going through it now. Good info. And thanks for sharing this program.

Hi Ben,
Nice haircut.
After the lawyer or prospect calls you, who do you say you are? What’s your title or how do you position yourself? In the email it seem like you’re a publisher.
Ben Littlefield

Mag,
I am a publisher. I publish content that helps businesses gain a larger visibility. Not unlike the role of traditional media advertising. The goal is to get them to see the benefit of gaining more exposure. And it’s all about them – not me. I just happen to have a solution to their needs! Make sense?

Hey Ben @Paul ask you about how to get on page 1 of google with your asset. You answered good 1. Good keywords that are winnable and make sense
2. Using existing authority
Could you elaborate on how to use existing authority, how do you mean?
Thanks,
RJ

RJ,
No problem…
Go build a site on WordPress.com – already has mass authority. This is one of the principles we adhere to in what we do and what we teach in our businesses. Another place where authority already exists in YouTube. So, if you pick solid keywords and build on top of a venue of high authority, you shortcut your way to big visible footprints!
Rock on!

How would you handle a prospect who is interested and wants to rent your asset, but proposes paying monthly (ex. $1k/mo) instead of annually (ex. $10k…discounted $2k for paying in full upfront)? Would you consider this, or just move on to the next one who is willing to fork your full asking price upfront?
Ben Littlefield

I’d take it, Mike!

Ok, cool. So would you have them sign some sort of monthly rental agreement then or what do you do about that? Same with the annual option…do you give them something to sign for the year to rent out the asset?
Ben Littlefield

I don’t like contracts like that personally. Just a simple agreement t that if they want to move on – to give you 30-days notice. Simple. Clean. Easy!

Ben-
You say “Go build a site on WordPress.com β already has mass authority.”
Could you explain why building site on WordPress.com vs on a private domain has more authority, please.
duilawyers.wordpress.com vs duilawyers.com?
I don’t have statistics, but it seems like to me when I look at a domain, xx.wordpress.com that the business did not even go to the trouble to buy a domain.
Also, is it easier to get on Google page with xx.wordpress.com than xx.com?

Paul,
Great question! Do me a favor and do a test with these simple steps:
1) do the keyword research in day 2
2) just pick one keyword that has “no exact matches”
3) go setup a free WordPress account
4) register a new wp site with the keyword as the site name
5) put up one single page with 500 words of content
6) make sure it is set to allow search engines
7) sit back and see what happens
